Tomb of Annihilation: 11

Dear Skye,

Trust me when I say that there are days in our journey which are almost too bizarre to put into words. But, as always, I will attempt to share our adventures with you.

The Shiny Happy People headed towards the goblin village of Yellyark, seeking the control amulet for Vorn, the shield guardian. We had a peculiar encounter with a goblin hunting party, but, thanks to Angle’s quick thinking, we managed to turn it into an opportunity. Speaking in their language, he convinced them he was a goblin noble, and we were his slaves. We were taken to Yellyark, closely watched by our new goblin guides.

Yellyark was an interesting place, to say the least. The village was built over a massive vine net, connected to a gigantic tree. The goblins explained that this was their escape plan in case of a large predator or undead attack – a catapult system that could launch the whole village.

We soon met the queen of Yellyark, Queen Grabstab, a fierce goblin adorned with many pieces of jewellery, including the command amulet we sought. Here is where things got strange. Angle decided to seduce the queen as part of his grand plan to retrieve the amulet. We were skeptical, to say the least.

While the rest of us were put to work collecting ants from the surrounding anthills, Angle and Queen Grabstab engaged in a “traditional mating ceremony.” During this rather awkward event, Angle managed to cleverly remove the amulet from the queen and throw it into his pile of clothes.

After the ceremony, the queen fell fast asleep, giving Angle the opportunity to teleport away with the amulet, sans clothes. He appeared before Orladhall and De’leon, fully nude, much to their surprise. From there, they initiated a hasty plan to trigger the village’s catapult mechanism, launching the entire village into the jungle.

This naturally incited chaos, and the remaining goblins were quick to attack us. It was a fierce battle, but we stood our ground. The goblins were no match for us, and we successfully defended ourselves.

In the midst of the fight, I had the opportunity to showcase my astral abilities. It felt empowering, Skye, to be able to defend myself and my friends with such a skill.

In the end, we stood victorious over the remnants of Yellyark. Angle, still nude, held the command amulet high with pride. We urged him to dress himself as we prepared to continue our journey back to Vorn.

Even in the most chaotic of circumstances, we find ways to laugh and grow together. These adventures continue to shape us, and I can’t wait to see where they will take us next.

Yours,
Mugen
